Daniel Alongi earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Religious studies at the University of South Florida in 2005. In pursuit of certification as a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst, he enrolled in the Florida Institute of Technology ABA Technologies program. He received his Master of Science Degree in Psychology with an emphasis in ABA therapy in 2012. He is preparing for board certification with the Behavior Analyst Board of Certification as a BCBA in May, 2014. He has specialized training in the assessment and treatment of children and adults with autism and other developmental delays. Following board certified in 2007 and has worked in clinical, community, group home and educational settings gaining extensive experience with a variety of genetic and behavioral disorders. . He utilizes the Assessment of Basic Language and Learning Skills (ABBL-S) and the Verbal Behavior-Milestones Assessment and Placement Program (VB-MAPP). These assessment tools guide and direct him in planning the behavior program to meet the individual needs of the client. Daniel's goal is to foster therapy to people by teaching them to become independent and lead healthier lives. He believes in teaching an individual the necessary functional skills required to survive, interact and develop beneficial relations with others therefore enabling them to lead more rewarding lives.
